OEM Program Overview and Procedures

Program Objective:

The OEM partner program’s objective is to provide reasonable protection to our SecureAuth OEM partner companies who are generating new sales opportunities and to foster cooperation with SecureAuth corporate resources.

Program Guidelines and Terms:

Deal registration is an opportunity-based program where SecureAuth rewards our OEM Partners who find and help manage new partner opportunities. The OEM Partner that meets the listed requirements and presents them to SecureAuth first for a particular opportunity will have their deal registration status changed from “Pending” to “Approved” for the named opportunity.

Deal Registration Program Parameters:

  • OEM Partner must bring the opportunity to SecureAuth or SecureAuth has engaged the Partner at the request of the customer and has not previously registered the deal.
  • Before registering a deal, the Partner must have made significant pre-sales efforts related to the deal, such as meeting with the decision-makers, qualifying the opportunity, helping the customer to quantify the project/budget with SecureAuth, or helping the customer to define the project requirements to include SecureAuth. The Partner must include a summary of such efforts in their submission in the “Opportunity Notes” section when registering the deal.
  • A defined project must be identified.
  • Partner has committed and maintains sufficient resources to properly manage the opportunity.
  • Partner must continue to communicate status of project to the SecureAuth Account Manager on a weekly basis.
  • SecureAuth reserves the right to rescind an otherwise approved deal registration if (a) information provided by the Partner is found to be inaccurate, (b) the Partner fails to maintain proper communication with SecureAuth regarding the opportunity, (c) the Partner fails to maintain sufficient resources to properly manage the opportunity, or (d) the opportunity changes in scope and/or no longer exists.

Deal Expiration:

Deal registrations are valid for 30 days from the date that SecureAuth notifies the OEM Partner of the deal registration status change (“Approved”). The deal registration expiration date will also be clearly noted next to the deal registration status. Deal registration expiration dates can be extended through the partner’s SecureAuth Account Manager by request and as long as the deal registration program parameters continue to be met.

Commission Schedule:

Incentives may be offered by way of commissions, cooperative marketing funds and accrual to partners’ revenue attainment.

SecureAuth OEM Sales Responsibilities:

  • Obtain appropriate approvals from SecureAuth Management for SecureAuth Pricing, Spiffs, Etc.
  • Coordinate the appropriate SecureAuth Corporate resources to close prospective opportunities.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of scoping, creating, and developing customer deliverables.
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations.
